The ills of Aging 

Rosie M, a retired lady but active as a volunteer in our community is a Scenar patient. This is her story, in her words:

When I first attended Ache Busters I was in a very poor state physically.  My feet would not allow me to stand longer than 10 minutes.  I was embarrassed always looking for a chair to sit on wherever I went.  I have a history of asthma, which I have had since childhood and with maximum use of latest medication I still had difficulty in breathing.  On my first visit I stood at the bottom of the (Clinic) stairs and wondered how I was going to get up.  I made it with three stops to regain my breath. 

On commencement of treatment with the SCENAR and the skill of Vincent I could feel channels in my body opening up.  When applied to my feet I found even after only one treatment I could stand up and water the garden for an hour.  With each treatment I improved dramatically, walking up stairs without stopping and just feeling alive and rejuvenated, breathing normally.  When my friends see me they say how well I look and I can laugh and join in activities with my grandchildren. 

My health is not a worry to me any more now that I know I can have access to this SCENAR treatment and the dedication of Vincent.  MY aches and pains have gone and I feel I have plenty of living to do.

It would make me feel great if my experience could help others.  My shoulders, riddled with arthritis did not allow me to peg clothes on the line.  Now I can.  I do not have full extension of my arm over my head but it will come.  The pain has gone.

Headaches

Joanne M. came to me with face pain that she rated at 7/10:

In July 2006 I was plagued by severe headaches and acute neck ache.  None of the usual analgesics helped and doctors could offer no solution.  After weeks of putting up with the pain a friend, who had been to Ache Busters and was successfully treated, recommended that I give them a call.  Almost immediately, after treatment with the SCENAR device, I had relief from the pain that had been dogging me and actually began enjoying life again.  I in turn recommended Ache Busters to a friend who suffers chronic pain, and would confidently recommend Ache Busters to anyone, not only for their successful treatment programme but for their caring attitude.

Breathing Problems, Back Pain

When I met Allen early this year he had had three heart attacks in the last two years, was in pain and was having difficulty breathing.  These are his words:

Hi.  My name is Allen Jones.  I was talking to a friend and neighbour about my breathing problems and Rosie gave me the phone number of Ache Busters after telling me they had fixed her breathing.

After two weeks I got the courage up to ring and make an appointment.  One week later I went to see them at Parkes Street, Lismore.  After an interview about my medical condition and aches and pains, Vincent said he could help me.  This time of year I would normally have bronchitis and be on antibiotics.  After one treatment my breathing had improved by 50%.  After the second treatment I had no problem at all, and have not ever shown any sign of a cold.

In the interview I also told Vincent about the pain in my back from a fall in 1980.  I had been to chiropractors and massage therapists but could only get relief for one week and then could not work until next treatment. After visiting Ache Busters for six times the pain in my back was staying away for two weeks!  Vincent suggested that the treatment may take twenty visits and that I may like to buy an personal SCENAR device to treat myself between times, but I decided to continue going to Ache Busters.

After sixteen visits, I can now work all day fencing and splitting firewood for sale.  It has been three months since my last visit.  I have no pain and no bronchitis.

Vince asked me to write this for him to go on his website and it’s quite a story so please take a minute to read it. My name is Lorelei Kampe, I am a 32 year old artist/farmer living on a property just outside Lismore.  I have been going to Vince for a regular massage for about 3 years.  I started going once a month as I was picking and packing peaches, nectarines and zucchinis which was causing a bit of pain in my back. 

6 months later I had a car accident which resulted in a spinal injury.  Dr. Nowitzke at the PA hospital relocated and fused the two broken vertebrae (T12-L1) with a bone graft from my hip and anchored them to T11 and L2 with metal rods and screws.  I was in the spinal unit there for 2 months during which I was lucky enough to learn to walk again with the help of a great support team of doctors, nurses, physios, counsellors and OT’s. I came home from hospital a couple of times on weekends towards the end and Vince started giving me a weekly massage as part of my ongoing recovery program, he was extremely careful and gentle and through this stage.

I was also in regular contact with spinal outpatients and outreach, Fran the physio at the rehab centre at St V’s and my GP then, Dr Stuart.  My immune system was so low at this time that I was regularly in Dr Stuarts office. Vince suggested I get a Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis and go on a course of nutritional supplements.  After only a few days, I was sleeping properly again and now 2 years later my health is as robust as ever. 

The winter following my injury my circulation was so poor I was worried about getting frostbite! I used the Detox Box every week for about 15 minutes over a couple of months and now it has improved so much my toes didn’t even feel cold last winter.  My partners grandmother was using it for pain and it improved the varicose veins in her legs so much I told her she should get some short skirts for summer!

Some of Vince's research has led him to electrical devices that communicate with the body’s nerves.  There is a foot thing (Electro reflexology machine) which probably also helped improve my circulation and more recently he’s been studying SCENAR.  This amazing device just basically fixes everything! Some conditions may need treating over a period of time and this is detected by the device too. 

6 months ago the chapter on my spinal injury was concluded when Dr Nowitzke removed the metalware from my spine.  After a couple of days in hospital Vince was able to use the SCENAR to promote healing and improve mobility.  For me the SCENAR has also worked on repetitive strain injuries, swollen ankles, pulled muscles, tired aching legs and feet, an unhappy digestive system or urinary tract, all kinds of back and neck problems, burns, headaches.  It does this by stimulating the body’s own natural healing processes and providing immediate pain relief.

I have come such a long way in the last 2 years and throughout Vince has always been cheerful and positive (and sympathetic when I can’t manage to be). Although I am grateful for Vince’s expertise every week, I am more grateful that I can count him (and his lovely wife Chris) among my friends.  Hope you enjoyed the story. Lorel.
